This camp is a very nice place to stay when in bolivar , whether you are hiking , biking, traveling or kayaking I would highly recommend this spot to camp. The owner Joe is very caring of his campground. Also he has a vast amount of knowledge of the history of the area. Make sure you ask him about what the last was like in his area. I stayed there back in March 2021 and will return many more times as I love the area. Thank you for having the campsite for nature lovers like myself Joe !!!

I stayed for a night to getaway and I was very relaxed. Joe and his companion, Airbud, were good hosts. He got me firewood, helped me pitch my tent and put up the hammock for me. I was very pleased. Thank you Joe, I'll definitely be back. It's like a small oasis and close to downtown. It's worth a visit/stay.

We had a nice time at this camp site. The portapotty was nice and clean and our spot was amazing even though we had some rude neighbors that had no respect for the property or other campers. Air Bud (the owners dog) was a sweet playful pup that hung out with us all evening. All in all we had a great time and would definitely camp there again.
