- Karen RGreat campsite right off the Towpath! My partner and I stayed here for one night during our cross-country bike tour. Joe was easy to communicate with, is full of knowledge, and just a really nice guy. You can tell he's put a lot of thought into the campground with the little details like solar lights under the umbrellas, along the pathways, in the port-a-potty - which is super clean. There's potable water and firepits along with trash and recycling(!!) at each site. Access to the Towpath allows for an easy ride into town for food/drink.
- Scott FThis camp is a very nice place to stay when in bolivar , whether you are hiking , biking, traveling or kayaking I would highly recommend this spot to camp. The owner Joe is very caring of his campground. Also he has a vast amount of knowledge of the history of the area. Make sure you ask him about what the last was like in his area. I stayed there back in March 2021 and will return many more times as I love the area. Thank you for having the campsite for nature lovers like myself Joe !!!
- Tricia BI stayed for a night to getaway and I was very relaxed. Joe and his companion, Airbud, were good hosts. He got me firewood, helped me pitch my tent and put up the hammock for me. I was very pleased. Thank you Joe, I'll definitely be back. It's like a small oasis and close to downtown. It's worth a visit/stay.
